The Carnegie Museum of Kings County is pleased to announce its 2026 exhibition: Building Kings County.
This exhibition will continue the museum’s mission of telling our communities’ history through the impacts of roads, buildings and industries in and around Kings County on generations of our residents and visitors.
Part One: February 21 to July 26

The museum is located at 109 E. 8th Street in Downtown Hanford and will be open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is $5 per person. ($2 for children under 12) There is a $10 family maximum (4 family members)
“Building Kings County” continues the museum’s long-standing commitment to preserving and sharing the history of the communities that make this region unique. Residents and visitors alike are invited to explore how our shared past has built the Kings County we know today.
