Despite its small population, Kings County has produced many outstanding athletes. From storied team rivalries to exemplary individual performances, they have given us a lifetime of memories and been an enduring source of community pride.
This exhibition tells the stories of these athletes through photos, trophies and game-used artifacts such as uniforms and helmets. The athletes themselves and the local schools they attended contributed many of these items, making this a true community event.
All levels of competition are celebrated--high school, college, amateur and professional. All of the county’s major cities are included—Hanford, Lemoore, Avenal and Corcoran.
Come celebrate these athletes with us. Their stories are our stories, the stories of Kings County.
